Lauren brings a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology to the team, and is primarily responsible for purifying our antiviral compounds as part of the broader effort to develop new therapeutics.

Lauren completed her PhD at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where her research focused on understanding photosynthetic light-harvesting mechanisms in plants.

She then held a three-year postdoctoral position at the Technical University of Munich, where she investigated the biological functions of cytochrome P450s, with a particular focus on their roles in specialised metabolism.
